Lithium Ion Battery Fires Response-Gray, GA

We are offering an introduction to Lithium Ion Battery Fires Response. We will cover different types of batteries and modules as well as discuss mitigation concerns and techniques when fires occur. We will also hold demonstrations of lithium ion battery fires and show different techniques of extinguishment. Finally we will take time to discuss the contaminaiton problem in the fire service as well as cancer concerns. During this we will discuss different real world techniques that can help limit and mitigate the contamination hazards. Our goal with this training is to have attendees leave with a better understanding of lithium ion battery applications, fire mitigation techniques, and a general understanding of the cancer problem in the fire service as well as ways to reduce the contamination.
